This stylish three-bedroom, two-bathroom cottage blends traditional architectural appointments with updated amenities and an expanded footprint. Situated among some of the city's most iconic homes, three blocks from State Street and a quick jaunt away from the Santa Barbara Mission, the location is perfect.
Every custom design detail is masterfully curated. From restored hardwood floors and coffered ceilings throughout, to classic Craftsman architectural elements, each design decision maintains the historic character for today's savvy guest.
In the living room , the fireplace casts a comforting glow throughout the great room, and an extensive library offers an abundance of travel books, cookbooks, and classic novels for avid readers. In the front bedroom just off the living room, a queen Murphy bed folds away to transform the space. The spacious primary suite with a king-size bed has ample closet space and a beautifully appointed custom bathroom. A third bedroom offers a queen bed and en suite bathroom of equal caliber to the primary, both bathrooms with custom marble, cove-ceiling showers adding an unexpected luxury moment.
The fully equipped kitchen features Viking appliances, seating at a butcher block island, and service pieces to set a pretty table. The serene sunroom with a television overlooks a lush, enclosed backyard, or step outside to enjoy a morning coffee on the covered outdoor terrace; built-in heaters keep guests comfortable year-round. Just below in the backyard is the barbecue, while lounges under a whimsical tropical umbrella evoke the feel of a private Balinese escape. Ahhhh, a great place to end the day in paradise!
There is also onsite washer and dryer. ** Note, the front bedroom fireplace is inoperable at this time, the home features a single fireplace in the living room.
