Welcome to Casa del Sol!  A beautiful newly remodeled Spanish style home in “uptown” Santa Barbara. This 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath home is centrally located in the very desirable custom home neighborhood of Lincolnwood. The home is within walking distance to parks, shopping and short drive to beaches, harbor and historical sites. The microclimate is sunny, warm and usually above the fog.

Designed for longer stays of a month or more, this home provides plenty of space for a family of up to eight people.  The home features high ceilings adorned with dark wood beams, plenty of windows to allow natural light and open concept dining and living spaces.  The gourmet kitchen is a dream for those who love to cook-- fully equipped with new stainless steel appliances, a large prep island and plenty of counter space. For relaxing indoors, guests can enjoy a comfortable family room with flat screen television as well as a large living room with plenty of seating surrounding a cozy fireplace.All of the bedrooms are spacious with plenty of room for comfortable sleeping.  The master suite features an en suite bathroom and king size bed.  The second bedroom also has high ceilings and a queen size bed.  The third bedroom has twin bunk beds and a single twin bed.  And the fourth small bedroom/office (no closet) has a twin daybed.  For family enjoyment, the garage has been converted to a game room with  ping pong and foosball tables (no garage parking).

The pristine beaches of Santa Barbara and harbor are an easy 10 minute drive from the house. Within walking distance there is luxury shopping at La Cumbre Plaza, and variety of restaurants and parks. Historical downtown is a 5 minute drive.

Perfect House & Great Management Company
Last fall, we needed to find a rental in Santa Barbara and we were living on the East Coast. It was very worrisome to rent a house sight unseen for 3 months in a town you have never been to. Well, good fortune must have shined on us because we found Vacation Rentals of Santa Barbara and their property Casa del Sol. From the moment of check-in, our expectations were not just met- they were exceeded.First, the house. I have NEVER been in a home that was that clean or that organized. The kitchen drawers should be in a magazine for everything you need but no excess or clutter. In our 3 months there, not once did we wish the home had something. The beds were so comfortable, the sheets so soft. The bathrooms were new and beautiful. Oh, did I mentioned the house is a fairly new, perfect remodel of Spanish Architecture? We loved the cozy family room and massive TV. The living room is bathed in light all day- perfect to curl up with a good book on the sofa. As you pull up to the front of the house, the landscaping is some of the most beautiful in Santa Barbara (and that is saying something). You will never tire of photographing its' beauty. Now, the management company. Most of our interactions were with Kristen. I am not sure what her title is, but it could be "The associate who is always available, and sole job is to help you, answer your questions just all around make sure you are happy." She is amazing. Next, we also had a House Manager, Kay. Her job seemed to be just making sure we have everything we need and we are happy with all the amenities in the home. My favorite question from Kay was not can we make it for you now (because it already was) but "is there anything that I could get you to make your stay MORE perfect for tomorrow." What a great house and management company. THANK YOU from the DENTONS. You made a perfect town a little bit more perfect!
