A "cabana" conjures up images of laying under a shady umbrella on plush towels while sipping on a tropical cocktail...an ideal place to relax while on vacation, right?! Our "Coastal Cabana" is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom downstairs unit in a completely renovated triplex that won't disappoint!
With an open floor plan and fresh renovated style, the living, dining, and kitchen areas become a communal hub for guests to cook, watch TV, mix up a tropical drink, and hang out effortlessly. Perch on a bar stool at the granite center island to stay close to the culinary action in the kitchen, or enjoy a quick snack before heading out to the beach with boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrella in tow...all provided!
In the primary bedroom, stream a favorite movie on the flat screen tv while sinking into a comfy queen-size bed. The shower in the en-suite bathroom adds a touch of luxury with a rain shower head and a hand-held sprayer. In the second bedroom, fall into the king-size bed when the day is done, watch a bit of television, or doze off and dream about what tomorrow holds. And if the phone charger didn't make it into the suitcase, there are multi-charging cables on both bedside tables for various devices. How smart! Fine linens and plush, fluffy towels make it extra special.
A signature highlight is the large outdoor patio, where bistro lights illuminate a comfortable space to be outside to enjoy the mild Santa Barbara climate. There is a Weber propane grill, dining for eight guests, a seating area, and a bit of shade for those warmer days. With deliberate intent to maintain that indoor-outdoor mood, the patio is a true extension of the home. This patio is for the exclusive use of Coastal Cabana guests, not shared by the other units.
A short walk will put visitors front and center on West Beach and Cabrillo Boulevard. Be sure to walk to the Funk Zone for world-class wine tasting, live music, novelty eateries, and unique boutiques. The Harbor lights are soothing after sunset, try a tart margarita at Brophy's, or buy the local daily catch at Santa Barbara Seafood Company and bring it back for a heathy meal at home. There is so much, nearby.
Have a larger group? There are two more units in this triplex. As mentioned, the three-bedroom, two-bathroom upstairs unit is Coastal Breeze. Coastal Palm is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom townhouse. Each unit has its own patio or terrace to enjoy. It's a cool collective to call home for a weekend getaway, or stay as long as you like! Choose one, choose all....but always have fun!

Beautifully Equipped and Immaculate: A Santa Barbara Gem!
We left our heart in Santa Barbara, due in part to this absolutely stunning home. A 5 minute walk to the beach, outdoor space (we grilled one night), a fully stocked kitchen with everything in immaculate condition. The space was perfect for a family of 4 and we very much appreciated the dedicated parking spot.

5++ Stars! Perfect Family Getaway with Thoughtful Amenities and Prime Location!
5++ stars!! This place was absolutely amazing and our family (2A, 2K- 10, 7) enjoyed staying here and would definitely book again next time we're visiting relatives. All amenities were thoughtfully included to make our stay comfortable, right down to the beach tar wipes (which we needed!) and the delightful Wes Anderson coffee table book that we enjoyed reading. Location - Moments to the freeway, and the rest is all walkable- three blocks to the beach, short walk to the pier and On The Alley for a delicious bite and eight minutes to State and the Funk Zone. Grocery store and a pub are conveniently around the corner. House - As others have mentioned, the sound does carry from the other units, but wasn't a huge issue for us. We found the beds to be a bit soft and a clothes drying rack would be useful, but otherwise no complaints. Property is spotlessly clean, includes a good quality beach set, extra towels/linens, full sized laundry, parking and lovely outdoor patio/bbq area.

Well-Appointed and Organized Stay with Thoughtful Host - Would Return!
Every room was well appointed, the host thought of everything. Very organized. There is a Pub near by and they had an event with a live band outside but quit at a decent hour, 10:30pm. We would stay there again.

Had a great time staying here. Easy walk to great restaurants, the beach, State Street, funk zone. Quiet. Comfortable living space and beds. Nice patio.

Location was great. Walking distance to the pier and beach with great restaurant options. Super clean. Nice appliances, well maintained. Back porch was cozy. Bedrooms were comfy.

Ideal Spot for Beachside Leisure and City Excitement!
This place is great - very walkable, close to the beach and downtown, lots to do around it. Very clean space, with a big outdoor area for lounging. Would definitely recommend staying here. Our stay was absolutely wonderful - excited to come back soon!

Very Responsive Host!
We had a great stay! The property was beautifully furnished and very clean, great location, walkable to the beach, restaurants....very responsive host-provider, smooth check in. The patio area was spacious with ambient lighting. Kitchen well stocked, washer-dryer, staple items. We really enjoyed it!

Perfect Stay!
This property was gorgeous...one of the best Airbnb's I've ever stayed in. It was completely renovated, and looked even better in person than the pictures. It was very clean, smelled good, and it was very well appointed, from the kitchen to the bathrooms. The area it is situated was perfect for a Santa Barbara visitor...walking distance to the beach as well as markets and eating establishments. One of our favorite parts of staying there was the outdoor patio area. It was so clean and well maintained...and the sparkly lights were a great touch for an outdoor unwind after a day on the town! I would definitely stay there again. Just beautiful!

Loved the home and location! Generally quiet aside from some noise upstairs but to be expected with shared walls. The home was clean and well stocked. Easy to get to restaurants and the beach. Loved it!

Truly professional service from start to finish.
Our family of four stayed at Coastal Cabana the last week of March/early April when we were in town for our son's wedding. The property was EXCELLENT. It was bright, spacious, nicely decorated and well appointed. And we didn't even get the chance to enjoy the HUGE patio with full-size table, BBQ, and plenty of comfy seating. Add that in to your living space and you've got loads of room!
The full-size washer and dryer just off the patio was a great perk — complete with detergent and dryer sheets.
Both bedrooms were spacious, with large flat-screen TV's and the extra charging stations. Just note that the primary bedroom with the en suite bathroom has the Queen size bed, while the second bedroom has the King. The second bathroom is just steps across the hall from the bedroom with the king bed so that's not an issue.
There were just so many little things “right” about this place: it has a dedicated parking spot for you right in front of the garage, although street parking looked plentiful, too;
The kitchen was very well stocked, and, this is just a small detail, but they had all 4 sizes of Ziploc Bags in the drawer for our use. Again, it's a small detail, but it made it feel like home!
Initially there was no iron with the ironing board, but one text to the rental company and within an hour an iron was delivered.
The location was superb! You could easily walk to the beach, various restaurants, and State Street.
We walked back from dinner two of the nights and felt very safe. The walking route back is a straight line and takes less than 10 minutes from State Street.
The rental was very well equipped with Tommy Bahama beach chairs, a stack of beach towels, black washcloths for make-up removal, and shampoo/conditioner/body wash.
It had the comfort of a home with all the amenities of a hotel!
Everything was very “logical”: If you thought of something you needed, it would be in the first place you'd think to look.
Checking in was easy — key in a lock box — which was convenient during our late night arrival.
Two sets of house keys were provided which was super helpful.
The kitchen was very well stocked — plenty of plates, glasses, silverware.
And again, impeccably clean.
I would not hesitate for a second to rent this property again on our next trip to Santa Barbara.

Perfect location for Santa Barbara!
Very central to all the main areas and only a 5 minute walk to the beach! The unit was large enough and very comfortable. Safe area, very clean and a parking spot outside the unit! Overall, an amazing rental and I would stay here again!

Definitely would love to stay again next time I'm in Santa Barbara.
The property was very new, very clean and met all of our expectations. Walkable to the funk zone and all of the restaurants bars shops plus easy access to bikes as well. A lot of room and very comfortable settings. BBQ worked fantastic. Everything was brand new! Definitely would love to stay again next time I'm in Santa Barbara.
