A short walk will put visitors front and center on West Beach, where wide sandy beaches, a paved boardwalk, harbor, restaurants, recreation galore, and absolute coastal bliss are just three blocks from the front door. 

On the entry level, the open plan living room and kitchen are the center point of a comfortable home. Guests will love cooking together in a well-equipped kitchen and dine at the granite peninsula (stools for six). Enjoy a night of streaming hit shows on the flat screen tv in the living room, or maybe just kick back and grab a quick nap before dinner. 

The ground-floor guest bedroom features a queen-size bed, a cozy reading corner, and a large walk-in closet, and is close enough to the kitchen for an effortless late-night snack! Happily, the Ninja blender and the Keurig coffee system offer opposing options for the morning beverage ritual. 

At this corner location in the heart of West Beach, the streets are alive with coastal visitors. There is parking for one car in the driveway. in front of the attached garage where there is a new washer and dryer, making it effortless to drop off sandy towels and swimsuits before entering the home. (Parking may or may not be available inside the garage) There ample street parking. New beach chairs, an umbrella, and boogie boards have been thoughtfully provided. 

A unique feature of this two-story unit is the spiral staircase to the second floor. The primary bedroom occupies the majority of the upstairs and is large, bright, and welcoming. The expanse creates a luxurious sanctuary filled with natural light from numerous windows that frame the mountain and city views. The bedroom seating area with a comfy chaise and a couple of chairs rests in front of the gas fireplace. A flat-screen tv makes it inviting to indulge in movie night from the king-size bed. If it's a working vacation, there is a desk here as well. French doors open to an expansive tile terrace off this primary bedroom, with the added convenience of an external staircase leading down to street level.

A massive umbrella casts shade over a nice sitting area, and a round dining table will be the ideal spot for any al fresco meal or casual conversation. This terrace offers a great bird's eye view to experience the vibe and energy of the neighborhood too. Guests can also enjoy the 4th of July fireworks or take a baseball game at Pershing Park during the summer season. Super fun!

Please note that the home's one shared bathroom is at the top of the stairs on this upper level. It features a glass walk-in shower and sliding door to the east side of the terrace, making it feasible to arrive home after a crisp ocean swim, pop up the outside stairs, and jump in a nice warm shower without a grain of sand hitting the interior floors. Genius! 

Staying at Coastal Palm is a fantastic starting point with a fresh perspective. Its iconic place on the map makes it effortless to enjoy unique activities in Santa Barbara, especially those that revolve around sunny days on the beach, biking, paddling, sailing, or simply letting the warm sunshine soothe away the cares of the day. Hang out with locals and visitors alike who flock to so many popular attractions; The Funk Zone, State Street Promenade, the MOXI, Shoreline Park, and the weekly Arts & Craft Show are all within a reasonable walking distance. Even a beloved Santa Cruz market is nearby, boasting some of the best homemade salsa in town, and just around the corner!

This Condo is Great!
This condo is great. Clean and well stocked with pretty much anything we needed. Nice light throughout the place. Hosts were very responsive. Easy to walk to the beach, State St. and the Funk Zone.
