This downstairs unit features contemporary elements, such as a bright color scheme, fresh flooring, and new appliances. You can expect a comfortable queen-sized mattress in the bedroom and plenty of drawer and closet space. With the rain-head shower in the new bathroom, you'll be able to wash off the sand from your beaching with style and ease!
The kitchen is equipped with all new appliances and plenty of utensils, dishes, and tools- everything you'll need to cook a gourmet meal at home! Enjoy your meal at the modern dining nook, then relax on the custom couch in the living room while streaming all of your favorite shows.
Relish the beauty outside, too! Guests of the Sand Bungalow are invited to use their private ocean view deck. Relax next to your special someone on the lush outdoor chairs as you admire the view and sip on some wine on the deck, or enjoy the communal garden space below shared with the other two units of the Lazy Hummingbird.
**Laundry facilities are shared with the other two units on the property. Please note that this is a downstairs unit and some noise from above unit may be heard.

We Will Stay Here Again!
The cottage is decorated so cute! It's extremely light and cheerful. The kitchen is fully stocked. Everything is super updated, the patio furniture is Restoration Hardware. The soap gel in the shower is Public Goods and smells so good. The bedding is high count thread and super luxurious. Whoever designed it did a great job with everything.

My wife, our 2 year old, and our pup, spent over a month in the Sand Bungalow and loved our stay! Very nice! Updated floors, cabinets, bathrooms, and appliances. I spent every morning out on the large deck catching rays. The floors and walls are not soundproof haha but we never felt "disturbed" by the neighbors. The bed is a full, and was quite snug but we got used to it! The only thing that really needs to be better is the WIFI. We rely heavily on uploading photo and video for work, and it was almost impossible.

Stunning!
An outstanding getaway in a cute apartment. Steps away from some great food, coffee, and shops, this is a perfect apartment to enjoy Santa Barbara, beautiful beaches in Summerland and Montecito, and general calm and relaxing time. Stylish apartment, the best part was sitting on the patio enjoying the sun and the view of the water. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Great view, great location. Kitchen is quite equipped. They have a coffee pot (thank god). Overall is super cozy for 2 people only. Queen size bed, no room for children. They have beach towels, extra blankets, etc. Very small bottles of shampoos etc so I would bring your own if you are staying for more than a weekend. Super modern, nicely furnished.

Great view of the ocean. Place was very clean, comfortable, and loved the decor. There are some great hikes in the area, if you're so inclined. Montecito is the next exit north and we really enjoyed several of the restaurants there. Summerland has a couple of decent restaurants as well, but there are many choices in Santa Barbara and other towns very close. Shopping in Santa Barbara is excellent. Beautiful area and lots to explore.

We truly chose the right rental for our four-day beach getaway. We visited Miramar, Padaro, Loon, and Carpinteria on each of the days and enjoyed them immensely. We walked to Summerland Beach Cafe for breakfast twice and drove to Coast Village Rd and State St for dinner nightly. The home was exceptional. Beautiful design, spotless, stunning bath and comfortable bed. Loved hearing the waves and seeing the ocean from the lovely balcony we sat out on every day. Would return in a heartbeat.

Great Location!
The property is lovely, airy, modern and very well looked after. Has all you need for a home away from home. Location is great as I would just walk to the local coffee shop and restaurants. Welcome book at the property has lots of thoughtful ideas and hints about maximizing your stay if you don’t know Santa Barbara. Would stay again.

Perfect!
This is the perfect spot for a week vacation. The Sand apartment at Lazy Hummingbird is nicely decorated and had everything we needed. It was in perfect condition and super clean upon our arrival and it is beautiful, cozy and comfortable. The location was ideal for us as we were on a road trip from San Francisco to LA via Palm Desert and we wanted to visit Santa Barbara, UCSB, Montecito and Ventura. A wonderful jewel in Summerland
Lazy Hummingbird is beautiful, chic, perfectly appointed, cozy and comfortable. What more could you want or need?! We have always loved staying there, and we look forward to our next visit.
