This expansive 2 bedroom bungalow offers sweeping views of the ocean and sweet town below from the large, private deck. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail while watching dolphins play just beyond the shore! The breathtaking ocean views are matched with designed appointments featuring luxury bedding, custom furniture, and a full European-style kitchen. The living spaces flow, from the custom sofa and built-in bench window seat to the oversized daybed + lounge, with a bright and contemporary color scheme designed to relax and rejuvenate your spirits. The primary bedroom features a queen bed and a large TV. The second bedroom offers two twin beds, perfect for children or visitors. The bathroom includes a rain-head shower and a soaking tub.
The private deck features an oversized daybed + lounge, as well as a pub-style dining and cocktail area next to the BBQ. The outdoor twinkle lights and design touches add to the ambiance.
Surf Bungalow is one of three units on the Lazy Hummingbird property, meaning there is plenty of communal yard space to enjoy as well.

Our stay in the Surf Bungalow, at the Lazy Hummingbird, was the perfect place for a quiet New Year celebration with my husband and daughter. Our family had not been able to visit in a year, due to the COVID pandemic, and this trip gave us the chance to be together in a beautiful setting. The three units on the property are well spaced to maintain privacy and social distancing. We hope to return someday.

Such a joy!
Jill of Vacation Rentals of SB made everything a breeze. They get in touch long before your check-in date to make sure you're all set up and remain in touch the entire stay. And once you arrive, the amenities are unbelievable. There was everything we could ever want and the location can't be beat. It was nice to have the quiet of Summerland with the option of a short drive, bike ride, ride share, etc. to get to downtown SB. This place was amazing.

Fantastic stay!
It's a lovely location with an easy access to the freeway to Santa Barbara and beyond. The house is beautiful decorated inside and the outside is fantastic overlooking the sea. The house has everything you need to have a fantastic stay in Summerland. Hope to return in the future!

This place exceeded expectations
This place exceeded expectations. The pictures don't even do justice for how beautiful it is. Great decor, a window bench seat with ocean views that is perfect for curling up with a book, lovely patio, well appointed kitchen, and convenient to Montecito (5 minutes) and downtown Santa Barbara (10 minutes). Perfect for a girlfriend trip of 3. We will come back for sure.

Beautiful "surf bungalow". Lovely spot. Sparkling clean. Well appointed with fun and quality decor. Very private (even though you are part of a tripled of vacation rentals). The deck with a view and outdoor living/ dining lit up with party lights was a highlight. Also loved the bikes- easy trip to the beach. Highly recommend!
