Dressed up in cool coastal blues in a friendly, walkable neighborhood, attention has been paid to every detail, with fine linens, great lighting, well-kept gardens, and various seating areas that invite guests to sip and savor each restful moment and quiet conversation. Inside, the light-filled living room sets a cheerful tone, while the multi-functional family room is perfect for streaming movies on the large sectional.

French doors open to a lush backyard oasis, where lemon and orange trees, and a generous barbecue station set the scene for great outdoor dining under the covered patio. The exceptional kitchen is fully stocked with handy cooking tools, appliances,  and classic serving pieces for beautiful, Instagram-worthy meals!  The farm-style dining table accommodates up to 10 diners.  The colorful garden and constant, calm murmur of the fountain not only set a tranquil tone but also frequently attract sweet little birds and the occasional butterfly. Lovely!

Upstairs, a private primary suite occupies the entire 2nd floor, with a full bathroom, a king-size bed, a sunny sitting area with television, and a sunset-facing balcony.

Downstairs, the second suite with a king-size bed opens directly to the back garden, where the calming murmur of the fountain creates a soothing backdrop. There is a full bath, a television, and ample closet space. The third guest room with an en suite bathroom features a desk to catch up on some creative writing, or daydreaming out the front window for inspiration! The fourth bedroom completes the guest accommodations with a queen-size bed, continuing the comfortable, coastal-chic vibe.

A detached studio out back adds flexibility and autonomy. With a fold-down sleeper-sofa, this cozy space is versatile not only for the occasional overnight guest but also functions as a sweet little office, art studio, or homework hub for finishing up their homework before heading out to the beach.

Not only is the home a mere 5-minute walk to Shoreline Park with a kids' playground and ocean view walking path for strolling kids and chasing dogs, but just a few minutes further is Leadbetter Beach with great surfing and a vast array of picnic facilities (barbecues, tables, rentable areas for larger group activities)  Downtown is also a very short 8-10-minute drive, with plenty of parking throughout town.  E-bikes are everywhere for adventurous guests!

Happily, Santa Barbara City College is within walking distance too. Run the track, tackle the stadium stairs with a vengeance, or enjoy a fast-paced, local football game, or graduation ceremony. Afterward, head across the street and plop down with toes in the sand and order a fabulous, well-deserved marguerita and tasty bowl of clam chowder at Shoreline Cafe. Yum!
