Natural materials balance with modern appointments and vintage collectibles. Wood plank floors contrast with stone and tile; cotton, linen, and earth tones soften contemporary lines and surfaces. The result is a comfortable and welcoming home with tasteful style and harmony.
The living room offers a stylish, comfortable place to watch television, warm by the fire, or tuck into the sectional or leather chairs and read for hours. Anchoring the kitchen is a masterfully restored vintage stove with double ovens. White cabinetry contrasts black honed granite counters with an east coast vibe that doesn't take itself too seriously. The built-in desk area provides a convenient nook for curious cooks to research recipes, serious students to stay connected, and professionals to get down to business.
Gathering at the round table in the formal dining room ensures every meal and conversation is exceptional. French doors open to an outdoor living room, and with a shady arbor, bistro lights overhead, and views of a lush backyard, there may be no finer place on warm summer evenings to relax and appreciate the serenity. In the corner at the far end of the lawn, a tranquil fountain bubbles away, adding to the peaceful essence of the home.
Each of the two bedrooms is outfitted with luxe, queen-size beds and plenty of light. The primary suite is a beautiful, romantic space. Behind the barn door, the en-suite bathroom is sleek, with dual sinks, a deep soaking tub, rain-drenching glass and a tile shower. Outside is a second deck for more privacy and access to the hot tub. Finally, a beautifully decorated office can be closed off to assure ultimate privacy and autonomy. Dine outside, relax and unwind, or plan the next outing in a relaxed oasis.
The colorful surrounding community offers a variety of casual dining options before heading to the nearby Santa Barbara County Bowl for a concert. Try the world-renown La Superica for the best in authentic Mexican fare, while fine dining downtown or in Montecito is mere minutes. Of course, the best vacations in Santa Barbara mean carving out plenty of time to enjoy the coastal playground. Hop on an E-bike and explore the city, stroll the winding, beachside path on Cabrillo Boulevard, or pack up for the day and head to any number of stunning local beaches or parks. The Pearl promises to provide the perfect starting point for a fantastic stay in paradise. And as the sign says in the kitchen, Life is Good!
