Full of natural light and luxurious details, City Terrace is an ideal place to find your home away from home. This 2 bedroom, 1 bath condo is tucked away just off of the iconic State Street and is very accessible to all that Santa Barbara has to offer. It boasts a walking score of 82 and a bike score of 72.
City Terrace is where outdoor and indoor living seamlessly come together to create an oasis of relaxation and serenity. Cook a meal on the BBQ outside as you listen to the relaxing sound of the small fountain on the patio. Bask in the Santa Barbara sunshine on the plush outdoor seating (not pictured) or enjoy a meal al fresco at the bistro table.
The remodeled kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need- from daily necessities to thoughtful additions, such as an espresso machine. Eat at the bar or enjoy a meal on either the indoor or outdoor dining tables. Curl up on the living room couch with a good book or to binge-watch your favorite new show. Ideal for those who work remote or just want a little extra space to work, there is a large built-in desk and shelving unit off of the living room. After work, enjoy a relaxing soak in the large tub in the remodeled bathroom. As is typical with many Santa Barbara homes, this property does not have AC. Open windows and the use of fans allow ocean breezes in to keep the house cool during hot summer months.
When it is time to turn in for the night, you can rest easy on the comfortable Queen size bed in the Master bedroom. This room also features copious amounts of storage space for you to settle in to. The second bedroom has a full size bed with a twin trundle, perfect for kids or visiting family members. Should you require more space, the couch in the living room folds out into a Queen bed as well to accommodate any overnight guests. The location was great for walking. I enjoyed sharing the area with three other little houses, it made for a bit of a community. The house was well-maintained and well-stocked for a long stay. The kitchen was as well-stocked as any I have stayed at. Beautiful private garden area becomes a big part of the house—-open the doors and enjoy!
Easy walk to all the shops and restaurants on State Street. 3 minutes to the 101 down Mission Avenue. Quick drive to La Cumbre shopping area. Fantastic private patio for indoor/outdoor living. Cozy and comfortable.
The City Terrace cottage was a great home base four our four-month stay in Santa Barbara (two adults + one small dog). It was well equipped and in great shape. It's location one block off of State St. made it very walkable to downtown SB. For context, it was a 2 mile / 45 minute walk all the way down to Stearns Wharf, which was great for us as we are avid walkers. If that's a bit much for you, there's a lot within a mile or less, including the wonderful Isla Vista Co-op Market, the Arlington Theater and many restaurants & shops. The hosts were great communicators and quickly responded to the occasional minor issues that came up during our extended stay.
Loved everything about the cottage. The kitchen was completely decked out with all you need to make a delicious meal. Lots of space and lots possibilities.
Charming cottage. Loved the location and also that decor was superb.Your people are terrific. So responsive to our needs.
Mike, Lucky ( our sweet Malti-poo) and I enjoyed living in this most charming cottage. The accommodations were ideal for us. The rooms were spacious, clean, inviting, the patio is delightful with a beautiful fountain, and the neighbors were absolutely wonderful and welcoming. Most of all, the management could not have been more helpful and responsive to anything we needed or requested. We are in high praise of the VRBO SB staff, "K," Marci, Lydia-et al. They are all wonderful.
The property is in a great location and easy to get to the restaurants, farmers market, Mission, and short drive to the beaches. Great neighborhood overall… walkable and beautiful location.
