The three-bedroom, two-bathroom cottage seamlessly blends classic traditionalism with modern features and updated finishes. The home can accommodate up to six guests with three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The inherent peacefulness will inspire guests to leave their cares at the doorstep, curl up with a good book, or enjoy quiet conversation. The fireplace, though non-functional, anchors the room and adds to the relaxed ambiance. The dining area is between the living room and the kitchen and seats up to six guests. The beautifully appointed, renovated kitchen with modern touches and plenty of counter space make this an ideal place for guests to mingle and collaborate with the chef in the group who is whipping up delicious creations! For casual snacking and informal breakfasts, there is a center island with seating for three. The laundry is behind closed doors adding convenience for long-term guests and refreshing the beach towels.
The primary bedroom features a dreamy king-size bed and garden views of the front yard. The neighboring bedroom offers two twin beds and a dresser. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed and a writing desk that supplies a quiet corner for studying or working from home. Two hall bathrooms were recently remodeled, one with a tub shower combination, the other with a glass, step-in shower, and both with a clean, fresh aesthetic.As is typical with many Santa Barbara homes, this property does not have AC. Open windows and the use of fans allow ocean breezes in to keep the house cool during hot summer months.
After a long day of soaking up the sun or shopping and sightseeing, unwind in the hot tub in the backyard. When dining al fresco on warm Montecito nights is on the menu, the backyard boasts an outdoor patio and garden area with dining for up to eight guests and a barbecue. New fencing with gates separates the Cottage patio from the adjacent Casita patio and can be closed to create more privacy when the Casita is rented.
Friday at the Farmers Market is a great day to pick up a few colorful flowers and organic produce for any weekend entertaining on the itinerary. Though a bike or a car is suggested to head up to the Upper Village, it's not out of the question to take a little longer walk there too. Make time to grab an espresso and the most delicious scones at Jeannine's, schedule a leisurely lunch at Honor Bar, or book a table under the stars at Oliver's, where the gourmet vegan fare is not to be missed!
If you require a larger space to accommodate extra guests or weekend visitors the property also uniquely offers a detached studio down the drive. This space features a queen bed and a sofa sleeper pull out as well as a kitchenette and private patio.

Property is in an ideal location within a quick walk to restaurants and the beach. Property was clean and perfect for four of us.
We had such a wonderful stay! The location was absolutely perfect, just a quick walk to the most beautiful beach, where we enjoyed some of the best sunsets. 🌅 We also loved being within walking distance of so many amazing restaurants. The Airbnb was comfortable, welcoming, and the perfect place for a relaxing beach getaway. We would absolutely stay here again!
The location is incredible, just a 5 minute walk from a peaceful beautiful sandy beach. The house is clean and well decorated, the hot tub is very enjoyable especially of a long day out in Santa Barbara, just a 10 minute drive away. Montecito's coffee shops and stores are only a few minutes up the road. The service was incredible, we had a worker for the rental company come by twice, driving through 2 hours of traffic to help fix two small problems that we said we didn't need immediately fixed. Overall, what a great Airbnb!
We stayed here for half of our summer vacation with our teenagers. I loved the house. We had so much fun preparing dinner in the kitchen with its very well stocked and large open kitchen. Wolf stove, Miele dishwasher. And other luxury amenities such as Electrolux washer and dryer. Most comfortable beds of our entire trip. The hosts thought of all the details to make our stay cozy. We loved the hot-tub and alfresco dining. The location was amazing. Walkable to the butterfly beach. One of our teens walked the coast each day. Very safe quiet and lovely neighborhood.
We traveled to Santa Barbara for a vacation with our two adult children, and Coral Cottage was the perfect home for our stay. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how incredibly clean, comfortable, and spacious everything was. The house offers wonderful indoor and outdoor living spaces, making it easy for all of us to relax and enjoy time together. Whether we were cooking, sitting outside, or unwinding after a day exploring, it felt like the perfect home base. The cottage has so much character and charm, which made it feel special rather than just another rental. The kitchen is beautiful and extremely well stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook a meal. The location is fantastic — just a 5-minute walk to the beach and a 5-minute walk into town, making it easy to enjoy everything without needing to drive. Overall, this house could not have been more perfect for our trip. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Santa Barbara area.
We enjoyed the place. It was a beautiful home. Right next to Butterfly Beach and the Montecito main strip. Was perfect for 4 people. Definitely recommend!
The communication was outstanding. I felt like the host was available anytime we had a question or needed anything at all. The property is beautiful, the proximity to the beach and coast village road made it easy to just park and walk everywhere- breakfast, dinner and shopping. The beds are comfortable and even though it doesn't have AC (most SB homes don't) they had a ton of windows and fans that helped bring in the ocean air and keep the house the perfect temperature. The architecture is very SB and the design was cute and approachable. One of our friends remarked that it was the comfiest couch they had sat on in a long time. Items in the kitchen are well labeled and we were happy to stay there and even met the couple and who was renting out the cottage/adu. Stay was great and would stay again.
The 3BR house is wonderful. Very light and spacious. Well equipped. Just a few blocks from Butterfly Beach and downtown Monecito. Agency is excellent to deal with. We hope to come back. Definitely recommend.
My family and I had an excellent stay. Everything in the house was high quality— linens, towels, even the toilet paper. Appreciate the water spigot which gave great tasting filtered water. It was so close to the beach and one of the best beaches around. We loved the garden outside. Everything about this place was beautiful. We would definitely stay again! Thank you so much for the stay!
