Le Petit Bijou (the Little Gem) is truly a place to get away from the hectic pace of life! A perfect romantic getaway just for two, or a cozy space for two adults and a small child. Just steps to the sand, this cute little cottage has everything you need to enjoy your beach retreat. A sandbox for adults and children alike, it is perfect for playing in the sea, reading a good book, or snuggling on the custom window bench overlooking the beach. Relax and listen to the calm ocean waves as you fall asleep in a full size bed. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail on the deck overlooking one of the most beautiful beaches in Santa Barbara. As is typical with many Santa Barbara homes, this property does not have AC. Open windows and the use of fans allow ocean breezes in to keep the house cool during hot summer months.
When you want to explore the area, the lower village in Montecito is simply a mile away with a wide variety of shops and restaurants. Or take a 10 minute drive to downtown Santa Barbara to enjoy the many museums, theatres, and shops on State Street.
If you are flying into the area, the property is easily accessible from Santa Barbara Airport (only about 20 minutes away) and Los Angeles (90 miles south).

I just love this place
This is a magical property on one of the best beaches in Santa Barbara. Tucked away but walkable to downtown Montecito. Incredibly charming. We didn't want to leave.
We love this part of the world and come fairly frequently. Perfect location, right on the beach. My husband was a bit concerned about the size of the bed, but it worked out fine. Lots of towels and linens. Host was very responsive and they made sure we were comfortable.
Hard to beat the location with wonderful moonlit beaches to look out on to at night and great walking in a prime area during the day.
The place was exactly as advertised. It is an adventure and a wonderful way to experience the Santa Barbara coast. We loved finding our way in and the instructions were great. Communication was terrific. Clean and quaint with an amazing view. We found everything we needed and the local recommendations were excellent.
This is a fantastic place for a couple's getaway! The location is A++. You cannot be closer to the beach, during high tide the waves are literally under your balcony. Its very small, but to have your own balcony and the privacy of your own home in this location is a game changer. It's also minutes from downtown Montecito and everything you would ever need. The hosts were great, proactive and there if we needed something. I would highly recommend and will be back!

We fell in ♥️ love with this magical little cottage! You cannot beat the location and we also got super lucky 🍀 with last minute pricing. Waking up and going to sleep with the sound and sights of the ocean 🌊 was dreamy! We were easily able to walk to the Rosewood Miramar (our favorite😍), we enjoyed the bbq and had some amazing beach 🏖️ days! Can't wait to return.
