Entering the unit, there is no question what the focus will be during a stay here. Dramatic coastal views through a wall of sliding glass doors draw guests right out to the oceanside terrace, where dining, barbecuing, and great conversation in the outdoor living room are bound to occur. Daily dolphin sightings are a common occurrence, along with local surfers and paddlers taking to the waves. 

With an open floor plan, each sunny living space connects without compromise.  The living room features a deep couch and chairs for ultra-comfort. Tuck into the corner with a good book accompanied by the rhythm of the waves, or grab a glass of wine from the wine fridge at the built-in bar and enjoy a quiet conversation with a friend. The round table in front of the gas fireplace is perfect for any meal unless the high-top dining table on the beachfront terrace beckons.  The kitchen is outfitted beautifully with dishes, glassware, a specialty coffee maker, and stainless steel appliances. Gourmet tastes and treats from the kitchen can also be enjoyed at the breakfast bar. In the serene bedroom off the entry, the king-size bed offers solace when the day is done; snuggle in and watch a bit of TV, then open the window to be lulled to sleep, in utter comfort, by the crashing waves just outside. There are two bathrooms, each with a shower-tub combination; one is across from the bedroom, and the other is off the living room. 

The unit below, Beachfront Bliss (Lower), can also be rented, making these 2-units an ideal booking, offering autonomy for each unit while sharing the same fantastic view and beach amenities.  Stairs lead down to the sand from each unit, making walks on long stretches of beach at low tide a must!  Take a cool dip in the ocean, then rinse off in the outdoor shower.

The World Class Rosewood Miramar Resort is only 100 yards away, so get dressed up and dine at Caruso's for a Micheline-style meal or casual cocktails on the upper deck at sunset. Also provided are beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and a couple of surf and paddle boards too. 

As is typical with many Santa Barbara homes, this property does not have AC. Open windows and the use of fans allow ocean breezes in to keep the house cool during hot summer months.

Finally, there is a full-capacity front-loading washer and dryer and two designated parking spaces. What fun it is to spend lazy days in the sun or quiet nights watching a full moon cast a romantic glow on the waters of Miramar Beach. Life is good here; nothing compares to falling asleep beside the ocean and waking up to paradise just outside the door.
