Wide garden steps ascend from the driveway to the front entrance and foyer. Additional stairs inside lead to varying levels and should be taken into consideration for guests with mobility issues. 

Once on the second-floor main level, the great room is truly the heart of this exceptional home, with soaring ceilings and a grand-scale picture window framing the ocean views. With a radiant heat fireplace available at the touch of a button, a streaming-enabled flat-screen tv, an intimate shaded terrace, and plenty of seating, guests can truly settle into this welcoming space. An elegant dining table offers formal seating for those special occasions. From here, step up to a bright and well-stocked kitchen with two large granite islands offering the invitation to create memorable meal times effortlessly. A breakfast table for six is tucked beside another large window with more ocean and neighborhood views. Brew your coffee with ease using the Nespresso machine, or utilize the drip or Keurig options available as well. The barbecue patio for the grill-master in the group and a four-top table for dining al fresco is just outside. 

Also on this main level are three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and a laundry room. For an added sense of luxury, two of the bedrooms feature comfortable King-size beds, and one a luxe California King bed. The north bedroom offers views of the backyard, a television, and a cozy loft up a ladder with a full-size mattress- a fun hideaway for adults or older teens comfortable with heights! Two bedrooms on the south side offer ocean views, one of which is en suite as it is connected to one of the two hall bathrooms. Hallway doors lead to the lush backyard with a tropical feel, a picturesque pond, and an L-shaped lawn to enjoy a challenging game of croquet or badminton. The outdoor area is also equipped with an outdoor shower, perfect for washing off the sand after a long day at the beach!

Ascend the last set of stairs from the great room to the 3rd floor, where a perfect "work from home" loft with a daybed and trundle overlooks the activity below in the living room, ideal for extra guests. Open the French doors to enjoy the fountain's tranquil sounds or take a luxurious soak in the hot tub on the slate terrace. This hidden treasure is a serene spot to relax and unwind. Oh, and if that is not enough, there are more ocean views!  

Also on the 3rd floor, the primary suite features a King bed, gas-log fireplace, flat-screen television, and a wet bar complete with a coffee maker and hidden beverage cooler. Step out onto the ocean view balcony at sunset to instantly take away any cares of the day. The spa-like bathroom offers a luxurious soaking tub, large glass shower, two separate vanities, and a large walk-in closet. Conveniently there is also access to the hot tub terrace from here. Plush terry cloth robes are provided for that added spa-like feel!

Finally, the garage on the ground level has thoughtfully been set-up as a game and exercise room, complete with a ping-pong table, PreCore elliptical trainer, yoga mats, and a closet filled with other games and toys.
 
Bonus: The entire home is equipped with a quality sound system, so no matter which room you are in, you don’t have to go without your favorite tunes! Please note that this home, like many in Santa Barbara, does NOT have air conditioning- we've found that the nearby ocean breeze coupled with the fans provided work in cooling down the home!
 
When it is time to explore, hop on one of the bikes provided. Give "Mesa Burger" a try, or enjoy authentic Mexican food at a local's favorite "Rose Cafe." Plan a trip to "Mesa Produce" for a bountiful selection of organic fruits and vegetables fresh from the field, or just walk around the friendly neighborhood surrounding this ideal vacation property. Shoreline Park is just a quick walk or drive down the street, as are favorite local beaches, including Ledbetter Beach! Additionally, the new State Street Promenade is a short drive or bike ride away.
